just when i want to fix myself the big salad i've been looking forward to all day long the cell phone rings. the message reads:
"will you come over tonight?"
i put the tomato, pepper and carrots back into the fridge and answer:
"will you send the limousine?"
"no, the chauffeur's already home, stupid!"
so i have to ride on the bike, and halfway between home and the tower a strange, threatening feeling catches up with me. i turn around and in my back i see a massive black wall of clouds following me, it looks like a fierce dragon, its paws pounding thunder across the sky. i manage to get there before all hell breaks loose, and when i finally stand in the middle of the living room, i'm sweating from the chase, gasping:
"sorry, i need to take a note of something..." i pull out the sketchbook and write down:
