right into me
it’s almost ten and i’m still at the office. well, not *my* office but marla’s (she’s a colleague of mine). jamie has popped in unexpectedly four hours ago and since then the three of us are sitting in marla’s office, working silently. well, more or less silently. the two have just ordered some food and around us more and more office lights are being switched off.
today was the final day of the “deleuze cluster”, a four day sortofminiconference which went okay. ian buchanan was here, and john protevi and dan o’hara. jamie has just suggested that we make a photo and put it onto sharon’s desktop, so i was looking through the drawer, looking for the webcam and what did i find? an old photo of s. that i had hidden there. burnt it rather theatrically on the windowsill. the wind blew the ashes right back at me and, funny, they somehow found their way through the skin and settled right into me.
